That first one completely won me over and it’s definitely one of my favorite #Scandal moments! The chemistry between these two though? I also love that moment between Fitz and Cyrus from “Dirty Little Secrets.” This is why Cyrus is all torn up about Fitz pushing him out. Fitz’s his best friend. The last two just captures Fitz, the enigma. (Admit it you wanted to see how his closet look like!) The man knows how to rock a suit and tie.

Scandal Fashion Scoop: Olivia Pope Wears Escada for tonight’s “Boom Goes the Dynamite”
Lyn Paolo caught up with InStyle to talk about Olivia Pope’s black and white Escada gown that we’ll see Miss Pope wear in tonight’s Boom Goes the Dynamite.
“Originally, we saw Olivia in a sleek Calvin Klein gown, then we moved to a more romantic-feeling Jean Fares gown with a full skirt and a lot of beading,” Paolo told InStyle.com. “Now, because Olivia’s life and loves are once again in turmoil, we have transitioned to a gown that is both black and white, feminine and romantic, with a lace paneled back but from the front a geometric strong shape and silhouette.” (InStyle)

Boom Goes The Dynamite’s outfit took a nod to episode 2x08, did it not? Love the Old Hollywood starlet hairstyle Olivia’s rocking. Lyn Paolo is amazing!
Fitz’s face breaks my heart in the pre-debate scene on the left. Olivia is giving him that tough love he needs, and he knows he needs, but he’s a reopened wound with his overbearing father around. Not only that, but he can hear Olivia’s frustration in her voice, and see it in both her demeanor and written all over her face. And, as we later find out, his every feeling is controlled by the look on her face.
You know that moment in a reality check when it all finally clicks? When all of your defenses have been stripped away? When you realize what’s really going on? All of that is reflected in his face. It’s different to their first meeting when she tells him it looks like he doesn’t screw his wife. His heart wasn’t in it for keeps yet. Now it is, so every syllable is like a tiny knife prick on his heart.
Oh, and where have we seen this ‘Fitz face’ before? The Rose Garden (right).
